"Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Simpson College and my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. In October 2013, I completed my Level 1 Training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps clients address traumatic or emotionally disturbing life experiences. In March 2014, I completed my Level 2 Training & am now working on my certification process. For the past 18 years I have worked at the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center and have been so excited about my new journey into private practice at Healing Ways Counseling, PLC."
